Early Friday at 5am, fire gutted a building behind the R.C. Lawson’s campus in Older Congor Town outside Monrovia which led to three girls and one boy dying instantly in the building the fire gutted and another four persons survived while their properties got destroyed by the fire.
The fire survivals were father to the four children who died in the fire disaster their mother and remaining two little children.
Speaking to reporters on the scene, Mr. Daniel solo who is head of the family lamented, “ we never left fire lighted in the kitchen before we all went to bed, and we don’t use mosquito cores and candles in our house besides Chinese light, how the fire gutted the building is what we done know.”
It was also observed by reporters on the scene that there was no electricity in the said building and how the fire gutted the building is still left unknown despite the Involvement of the National Fire Service of Liberia.
Meanwhile, remains of the four dead children have been taken to a nearby mortuary in Older Congor Town outside Monrovia.
