Talk Show Host Henry P. Costa says he has been told by Liberia Immigration Service (LIS) not to leave the country until he is thoroughly investigated. According to Mr. Costa, he was told by LIS Boss to make a commitment and the commitment was signed by his lawyer at the headquarters of Liberia Immigration Service on Saturday which implies that he is now a suspect and could be called at any time for further investigation which he believes could delay his return to the US. “Following 5hrs stayed at the headquarters of LIS, the statement heard was my Lezzie Passe’ was valid but stamp and signature in the document was not valid,” Costa said.
Meanwhile, The Attorney General of Liberia who was presently attending a funeral service requested the LIS Boss to immediately submit the investigation results in order for the MOJ to further go through said document before any decision is made.
Henry P. Costa who is the current Chairman for the Council of Patriots entered Liberia on the 19th of December, 2019, through the Robert International Airports (RIA) where he received rising reception from his supporters and since his arrival, Mr. Costa who is now a suspect by GOL has not been called by the Liberia Immigration Service (LIS) for any document review until January 10, during his departure to the US which has caught the attentions of many in Monrovia. As the investigation continues, there had been no commit from Diplomatic missions near Monrovia to deescalate the situation.
